Over the weekend, I made my second pilgrimage to A Current Affair in LA. Billed as the world’s best vintage, this two day pop-up features over 70 vendors with clothing, accessories, and jewelry for both men and women (but let’s face it, mainly women).
Honestly, I’m not the best vintage shopper (picking through racks gives me anxiety), but there are a few categories I excel at and am always seeking out: namely, jewelry and t-shirts. Last September, I walked away with an armload of tees and this time, one special pendant (more on that later).
Regardless of your vintage proclivities, it’s such a good place to people watch. I always feel incredibly uncool at this event because people are dressed in their vintage best compared to my jeans and a t-shirt. That said, sharing what I wore and a few finds below.
As a heads up, I may receive commission for purchases or clicks made through links in this post at no cost to you. I only share things I use and love.

New Yorkers, the next ACA will be popping up in Brooklyn the first weekend in June. In the meantime, I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite local places to buy vintage.
General Store: spot on Lincoln Boulevard with eclectic home items and vintage clothing. They have the best assortment of vintage bandanas (niche, I know).
RLT: highly curated edit. I also love their in-house line.
Satine: right off Abbott Kinney with a great selection of vintage Levi’s, plus contemporary women’s clothing.
The Mart Collective: huge antique mall in Venice with tons of different vendors - more housewares but they do have some clothing and accessories. I’ve bought a few pieces for my apartment from here.
Send me any of your faves I should check out! I’ll be hitting up The Vintage Twin on my upcoming trip to NY, so stay tuned for that.
